    The short version: Text entered into the tools is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to WordCountPro. The site uses Google Analytics, the contact form processes the details you submit, and Google AdSense may be added in the future.
  

Who We Are

WordCountPro (wordcountpro.com) is a free online word counting tool. We are based in the United Kingdom.

What Data We Collect

The data processed depends on how you use the site:

Text you enter into the word counter is never sent to our servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.
We do not require an account. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you submit so that we can respond.
The contact form temporarily uses your IP address for spam prevention and rate limiting. The rate-limit record expires after approximately ten minutes.
We do not store your text, word counts, or any other tool outputs.

Cookies

Google Analytics and, if introduced, Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies. Where consent is required, Google's consent controls can be used to accept, reject or manage optional purposes.

You can also manage personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings.

Google AdSense & Third Party Advertising
